"The overall impression is a kind of fusion of American ‘60s garage bands, The Cure and the Cocteau Twins." Chatham Standard, Tuesday 14 June 1988

"The music is well integrated without any of the rough edges you might expect from such a new group, especially considering Marcus joined only recently.  The influence of the group Wire is evident in some of their music. All the songs are original, with a lively beat and fresh lyrics. With so many groups re-hashing old material, it is a pleasure to see a band attempting something new. The standard of music is excellent and three nights a week practicing is certainly producing results."
