Worx was a music initiative in 1997 that brought together bands from Maidstone, Lille, Brussels and Gillingham. The project was funded and supported by Sans Frontieres, Kent County Council, Maidstone Borough Council, Gillingham Borough Council, Domaine Musiques, Wallonie-Bruxelles Musiques and Communante Francaise de Belgique.

The project provided opportunities for Flip, Junction Road, Bly and Poppy Field to record and publish a CD EP of their work and come together to play live at four large scale music events across Europe.
The Worx CD was produced in a limited edition of 5,000 copies and distributed freely at each of the gigs.
